no...well yes...once someone on here suggested i go to lord and taylor (i assume they don't actually have a bridal department, per se) i started thinking: hmm, maybe i will just use a fancy dress.

Re: Sad and frustrated

i am looking for a short sleeved, empire waist with a split front dress that comes in lilac/lavender for my jr. bm.

for my FG's the dress must be short sleeved, ankle length and come in lilac/lavender.

i thought it would be easy, but it's not.

Re: Sad and frustrated

note:
i saw the exact jrbm dress i wanted in a store, it was a bridal original, but the woman has not yet called me back to let me know if the company still makes it.
(WHY HAVE THE SAMPLE THERE THEN??)
i called her twice already. i don't want to keep annoying her.

an option:

know anyone who can make them? design them yourself based on the ones you liked, hit the manhattan garment district for fabric, and get them to a seamstress to make...

considered that too lovie...but i can't find a dressmaker who isn't going to charge a fortune. i'm trying to make this as smooth as possible, but it's not working out that way. i just want it to be done (the finding of the dresses) already!

GO TO THE MALL!!!! Now that the Easter season is here. There are PLENTY of light color dresses. I saw some REALLY pretty ones at JC Penney's in Roosevelt Field!!

Try all the stores!!!

Good Luck!!!

I looked and looked. What about having a white dress dyed? If that's even possible.
