Sad and need to vent a bit - BM related...(vent)

I really don;t think I ask alot of my BP. Really anything in fact. I've asked my 2 NYC-based BMs to come with me to a couple errands, one BM (my best friend) is amazing and sooo helpful. The other is just like non-existent. I have barely seen her in MONTHS and she NEVER calls to ask how things are going let alone if she can help. So over a month ago I got the call that my dress was in. That day I scheduled the fitting for this upcoming Thursday AFTER talking to this BM to see if she maybe wanted to come (I thought maybe I wasn't reaching out or making her feel included). So she said yes for sure and scheduled it in. Today I text her to confirm we're still on. She says she has jury duty. So, OK I know she can't change that but she must have know about this for a at least a few days! And she waited for me to check with her instead of letting me know! She was the only person coming with me and its not so easy to find someone else to come in the middle of the day on a Thursday with 4 days notice.

Anyways, now I'm probably going alone and I just feel like at this point why is she even a BM? I'm not gonna say anything cuz its not worth it but its sad because when I asked her to be a BM she was one of my closest friends and now we barely speak (even though I text and call and never hear back)

I have had the same kind of stuff with some of my BMs. My MOH has been AMAZING! My own sister (who was originally supposed to be my MOH) never askes about the wedding and when I asked her to come with me dress shopping, she said she didn't want to
I understand how you feel! Try to focus on those that are there with you, supporting you through this process...you really learn who your true friends are!
