DH's stepgrandfather passed away late last night. He lost his wife just over a year ago, and he was never the same since. He was diganosed with lung cancer a few months ago but we both think his broken heart really killed him. DH is taking comfort in the fact that he really did not suffer, he never lapsed into a coma, and he was able to live and die with dignity. We are saddened and will miss him.
