My FH's close friends dad passed away today. He's been fighting cancer for a while now. He's only in his 50's though so it is just so sad. The funeral is tomorrow but I think just my FH is going to go. I don't think his friend wants a ton of people there, just his close guy friends. Any suggestions on something I can sent to him and his family?

maybe a mounted pic of your friends dad. You can take a regular pic that they love of him and blow it up and mount it on a frame. they can put it somewhere in the house and feel as if hes watching over all of them. Hope everything goes well. Sorry for the loss
edible arrangements are perfect because they will prob have guest to feed at some point

Very sad. Sorry to hear.
Edible arrangements are perfect..I think. Or maybe even call a deli and have a tray of sandwhiches sent over. Someone did that for my aunt & cousins when myuncle passed away a few months ago and they really appreciated it. they didn't ahve to worry about cooking and ppl kept coming over, so they had something to offer them.

I agree with sending a tray of sandwiches. In difficult times many people will be over and food will be the last things on their minds.

Maybe a basket of food with a card?
Agreed. When my dad passed the food was such a help b/c people were in and out and my mom, sister, and I didnt want to cook!
