OK I haven't said anything all week because I needed not to talk about it. Even though so many happy things are happening with FH and I with wedding things moving along and the new place. My family is not doing good my dad had major surgery done on his foot and is in a wheelchair, in an inaccessible home. My grandmother is in the hospital and not doing good at all, we are praying she makes it through the week. She is my only living grandparent left and she has been looking forward to going to the wedding she just can't do it any more. It is so sad, but I think so far I'm ok. I don't want her to suffer she means the world to me.

I'm sorry to hear about your sad news It's good to have a site like LIW that can provide you with support and a place to vent what is going on. As hard as it may seem, with every bad, there is always a good to come eventually!

I know how you feel with wanting your grandma to make it to your wedding but at the same time not wanting her to suffer...I just lost my mom 2 weeks ago and as angry and hurt that she won't be at my wedding I am relieved she is not suffering. Hang in there!!! God works in mysterious ways some times.

When I decided on my dress we took her to the shop to see it on me. She loved it and we took a picture together. I think it's in my albums.

Tori, I know exactly what you are going through. I lost my Nanny 1 year ago and my only advice to you is to spend as much time as possible and ask all the question that you can think of, b/c once they passon you can't ask anymore. 2 weeks before my nanny passed she told me all about my family coming over from Italy. Those are the things that you never forget. I will say a prayer for you and your family.
