Sad News.....

Sad News.....

Just talked to the girl I used to babysit for when she was little...She is now 13 (started babysitting for her when she was 2) ...She says one of her friends from 'up island' shot himself, and is dead. He is 17. I believe this happened today....she was supposed to spend time with him today (almost her boyfriend)....Please say a prayer for all the people involved in this tragedy..Thanks girls!!

This sounds like it might be the same boy who went to school with my nephew in Malverne. How sad!

I had a cousin who committed suicide when he was 18 and you can't even imagine what they must be feeling to decide that this is the only choice. My heart goes out to his family & friends.

Maybe it is Elizabeth....she says it was yesterday, he lives close to Deer Park...I cannot imagine what was going through his head to make that decision...she said he has everything he ever wanted as far as she knew, but she is only 13, still a baby herself, and it kills me for her to have to go through this already...boy have things changed since I was 13---12 years ago!

I dont think its the same boy then from where you say he lived. Even sadder to think there were 2 17 y.o. boys that decided to shoot themselves this weekend. If only they talked to someone....

My heart is heavy thinking about them and their families. very tragic.

OMG! I didn't hear about the one in Malverne!!! That's where I live... It's so scarey, it makes you have second thoughts about wanting to raise children. (Or me atleast...)
