FI's groomsmen Jay, Jay's mom passed away this morning. Jay isnt taking it too well. FI isnt taking it well either. Jay's mom was like a second mother to him. FI lived with Jay and his mom for 3 months. Jay's family is like family to him.
FI isnt taking this well at all. It's like he lost his own mom.
The funeral is Wed and Thursday. FI is taking a sick day on Wed and spending the whole day with the family.
I feel so bad for FI. I wish I knew what I could do, but I guess just being here is all I can really do.

I want to strangle him. He is being so grouchy.
I saw his friend on line and his friend IMed me all the info and I was telling FI and he said to me 'can you do me a favor and just not talk about it'
UH!!
My heart breaks for him and I know it isnt towards me, but I just feel I want to do something and I cant.

so sorry to hear about your loss - my fh's bm wenthru the saem thing when fh's mom died...its very hard but he is gald to ave you there....

All you can do is hold his hand. That's your job. You can't fix it, just be there for him. I know how you feel- fh is always so strong for me and when something makes him sad (which is not very often)it is hard to handle.

I am so sorry for you and your fi! He needs to vent like you do with us, so let him do it with you, just don't take it personally, he is just upset. Lots of for you guys!!!

Let him vent. Give him space. He will come to you when he is ready to open up. They all eventually do. But the more you ask can I help the more frustrated they become. Just be raedy when he is... My prayers are with you!

he's in bed. he has a softball game in the morning so he's been talking about the game and his team.
he doesnt want any mention of the funeral.
So i just listen. I know its hard for him so i just do my best and listen
