Sad News

I've been away from the boards for the past week or so because my grandmother passed away. She went into the hospital very suddenly bc she had pneumonia and also suffered from alzhemiers for the past 6 years. Unfortunately, her heart gave out while she was there. It was a long battle with alzheimers and my wonderful grandfather took the best of care of her. I knew she was in the final stage, she didn't talk, had no idea who anyone was and was a shell of herself, but I always thought she had at least another year left and would at least make it to my wedding. Me and her had a special relationship as she and my grandfather raised me for about 10 years as a child, paid for all of my education and was a huge part of my upbringing. She was a mother to me in every way when my own mother needed help. If you could keep her and my family in your prayers I would appreciate it.
