sad one year anniversary today.

today is the one year anniversary of my fh mom passing away. so sad to think that she will not be her to share our special day. She was so happy when we got back together (after our short break) and never even got to know that we got engaged.

I'm sorry.

Today is also a sad day for me. It's the anniversary of my grandmother's death. I held her hand as she died on August 1, 2000. It was a life-altering experience for me.

I met my DH two months later. She never got to meet him.

She was always saying to me, 'I wish you would meet a nice fella.' She said she used to pray to her own grandfather, asking him to help me meet someone nice, and to watch over me.

Sometimes I like to think she had something to do with my DH coming into my life. I like to think her spirit knows what's going on, maybe even saw the wedding. Maybe your FH's mother knows all about your engagement. I guess we can really never know for sure, but it's nice to think so!

HUgs to you on this sad day! i am sure that her spirit will be with you on your wedding day!

I met my DH 5 days befor my grandfather passed away and he never got to meet him. Ialways though it was so sad and unfair! Now i know that my grandpa knew he was leaving us, becasue he was very sick for a long time. I think he somehow knew that he can now go and not be in pain anymore becasue my Dh-to-be was here and another man was going to enter our family to take his place and take care of his loved ones! He wanted to make sure my 'the one' was here befor he goes for him! My mom always says that grandpa send my DH to me, and that one man enters the family as another one leaves! I guess grandpa totally approved!

I think all the people we love who passed on can see us and know what's going on!
