Sad: some family going to confirmation instead

It started when a Great Aunt and Uncle of mine resonded that they could not go. I was sad because I sent plenty of invites to people I did not care about (father put them on the list). But I really wanted them to go. Well I never asked why. Then all of their kids started responding they could not go. Today one of them responded and explained their nephew's confermation is that day. So it turns out a section of my family, and possible more (since this is an Italian family) will not be able to come.

I guess if that is the way it works than at least I can invite more friends. But still alittle sad since I did set the date a year ago.

that is hard that a lot of your family can't go - but confirmations are hard- you are usually told when they are because it is based on the bishop's schedule - most churches only get one day for confirmation a year (except for easter vigil)- my church we all got confirmed on a monday to show how it is based on the bishop's schedule
