Sad Today

Hey girls. I just had to leave my FH in Colorado on Sunday. I HATE being away from him!! Anybody else in a long distance relationship???? It's really hard.

I'm not seeing him again until December. That's 15 weeks that we'll be away from each other, and this first one is just DRAGGING for both of us!!! You guys are all lucky - those of you who get to plan your weddings WITH your fiance beside you.

I miss him sooo much

... can't wait till we're finally married and never have to say goodbye again

wow...that's a long time! i could never imagine spending that much time apart! but, it will make the next time you see each other even better!!

Awwwww I'm sure the time must be dragging, but soon you guys will be married and together forever .

I can't imagine how ard it muct be for both of you but keep your chins up....the weeks will fly by.

Yeah... I agree that it WILL make the time we come together again EXTRA special. We won't be taking our hands off each other for a MINUTE at the reception.

But it just hurts sooo bad right now

Why is he in Colorado? Work? Are you moving there or is he coming to you after the wedding?

Yeah, he lives in Colorado and can't leave work. I just spent the summer down there, so it's hard being back home without him. And with the time he's taking off for the Wedding/honeymoon, he's not gonna be able to get off for another visit in between (and even if he could - with the price this wedding is costing us, neither of us would be able to afford that extra flight anyway).

Yes - i'll be moving there after the wedding. Ugh... just hearing his voice on the phone gets me all choked up. I hate this.

Colorado is BEAUTIFUL!! My brother lived there for 6 months for work and I went to visit...just stunning.

You'll see him soon and be with him out there soon. It's hard but as the saying goes 'absence makes the heart grow fonder.'

FH and I were in a long distance relationship for a year and it is hard. I spoke to him a lot on the phone, we emailed and web-cammed and it helped alot. Just knowing that you will see him again soon always got me through my sad days.

we did the same thing in the beginning. We had a lot of e-mails, myspacing, and webcam going on. I remember back when we used to sit on the phone literally all day on the weekends. Now that we're both getting really busy with work and planning the wedding, it's only been about an hour or two each day.

Thanks girls for your encouragement, it helps a lot. Even tho I have family & friends here in NY with me, it's just not the same without him, and i feel so alone. Sounds pathetic, but true. I just love him so much - i know you all understand that

But you're right. I'll see him again soon - and then it's him & me forever. I'm soooo glad that this was my last time leaving him at the airport. HALLELUJAH!!!

It will all be worth it once you are married....
and you'll be so busy planning that December will be here before you know it. Hang in there.

And if you need to be kept busier, i can send you to do my Christmas shopping for me!

No thanks. I'm being kept busy enough. lol.

FH keeps telling me that in a few years I'll be begging for another break from him anyhow. So I might as well appreciate the time while I have it. I doubt that.

I fell silly now that I was going to post I miss FH already because he has his bachelor party this weekend and I won't see him until Sunday.

i hear ya. lol. My mother used to make fun of me because I even get sad & start missing him when just leaves for work. (i guess that's why THIS major separation hit me so hard)
