Most of you know my dad passed away when I was 8, well today makes 22 years. I've known almost my whole life that my dad wouldn't be here for my wedding but today it's really hitting me hard. Being the anniversary I guess drove the point home. I know he will be there in spirit. I just wish he was actually going to be there. Sorry I just needed to get that off my chest.

I am sorry that you are sad today and know how you feel. My father passed away 15 years ago and my mom passed away 2 years ago. The wedding process can bring out a lot of sad emotions. Try to remember the good times you had and all of the lessons he has taught me.
Your father will be there in spirit with you on your day. Although it is not the same you can carry a photo of your dad in bouquet locket to have him with you as you walk down the aisle.
