Sad....after 334 days.....

I'm going to have to take off my wedding band. It's literally been on my finger since DH placed it on me in church 334 days ago, yet with 2 1/2 weeks left to go b4 baby gets here, my finger is getting too swollen and I really don't want to have to cut it off should I leave it on.

DH bought me a plain silver band to wear in place of it (on mother's day), but its just sad to me....

You made it very far into your pregnancy with your ring on, though!!!!!!

Soon you'll have it back on!!! I took mine off the day after our anniversary because I was afraid it would get stuck.

Awwww Cin! I know how you feel. I recently put my e-ring in the safe because I couldn't wear it with my wedding band right now (thanks baby !) I will return to your finger soon but I completely understand why you are sad.

I had to remove mine at 10 weeks. DH bought me a plain band for the remaining. But this one is too small too.

I know go 'bare' hands. Can't wait for the swelling to go down and wear my rings again.

Awwww, Cindy. I know exactly how you feel. DH insisted I leave my e-ring at home for our HM. If it makes you feel any better it looks like my rings will be coming off in the next few weeks.

Wow Cin, I can't believe you've had it on without taking it off all this time!!!!!!!!! That's quite an accomplishment!!!!

What about wearing your ring around your neck on a nice chain?? That way you're still technically wearing it without it hurting your finger.

And don't worry about the ring that Ray placed on your finger, he put something else inside of you that's much more special!!!!!

I can't believe you're almost due, I'm so happy for you guys!!!!!!

I hear you! It was sad removing mine. I had worn all rings, then just wedding band, then nothing. It was sad and I didn't want to, but I was in pain!!

DS is now almost 6 wks old and NO rings fit!! I can force them on, but they hurt even worse than before.

I have read on LIF some girls couldnt get their rings back on unitl 2 mos PPD!! DH said he wants to take mine to get made bigger, then if need be we can have them sized down! He's too sweet!!

Wearing it on my neck is a wonderful idea, but being how forgetful/clumsy I am lately, I could see myself easily forgetting to put it on or it coming off the chain.

He made a big deal of taking my old one off my hand and putting the 'new' one one (a plain silver one). It is also our 11 month anniversary today, so that was cool. He was actually teasing me saying we're no longer married now.

On a good note, now I can actually clean it the right way!

This way was much better than having to cut it off...it was getting to the point where I could BARELY move it over my knuckle.

Cindy - I wore mine on my neck from around 34 wks on... and was able to put in on right after baby!!!
