ok so i finally pick out bm dress and i love love them just what i wanted soething that was a bit diffrent and that the girls could def wear again..ok so i show fh and he looked like he was like its nice..but i could tell he was lying.he just goes i though u would get long ones the short ones look so informal..now i feel bad he says to get them but i feel bad cause he does not like them but i really love this dress..what would u do?tia

Im going to go against the grain on this one and say It is his wedding too. Maybe show him some other dresses and see what type of dress he likes? Then try to find something that you both like

It depends I guess.... my FH has very good taste when it comes to things 'looking good' whether its clothes or decor so I actually really value his opinion! If your FH is the kind of guy who is clueless about that sort of thing I'd have another chat with him about it.

you could always get a longer dress that the girls can cut later. I am getting a long dress that the girls can cut to make those cute little bubble dresses later if they want to reuse them

The groom doesn't get a say in the BM dresses unless they're hideously ugly. If you love it that much, then I would get it.

thanks so much girls i feel better and the update is fh said that all u girls r right he does know nothing about dresses and just though bm dresses HAD to be long so all is good in gina land...thanks again so much

I honestly think that you seem to really like it and he will grow to like it once he sees the girls in it and stuff. If he always happened to picture the BM dresses to be long, he might get a bit thrown off if you picked short ones. Kay? No worries- I'd still go with the short ones.
