SAHMs - Join a MOMS CLUB !
Since there are so many new and 'sprouting' SAHMS (and even those working part time), I figured Id mention the MOMS CLUB again on here...
Its an International NonProfit Organization thats basically a group (some chapters got as big as 60 members!![]()
) all SAHMs getting out of the house with their little ones. Monthly meetings, outings, MOMS Night Out, trips to the zoos, parks, libraries, Scrapbooking, Swapping everything from recipes to discipline ideas to babysitting time ![]()
There are 7 Chapters on LI and hundreds across the country.
Im heading up the Commack Chapter on LI as President![]()
, I was a member of another local chapter since I was preggo with JA and we 'sistered off' into 2 additional chapters due to the increase in membership, mommies coming out of the woodworks everywhere! ![]()
ITs just easier to function as a group when you are less than a certain amount.
Their website is momsclub.org. We dont have websites set up yet for our chapters, since we are just getting off the ground.
My sister heads up the Chapter in Queens.
If there is no Chapter near you, you can start your own or join the nearest one. I have moms from Nassau joining my chapter!
Ive met some great moms, and have made some great friendships through this club.
Just wanted to get the word out. Im sure there are tons of 'mommy activity' things going on lately, so I hope you all find something that suits your lifestyle and your precious little one!![]()
