Definitely wait to get fitted. You have a whole year to go - get fitted a few months before the wedding.

yeah i ordered mine in March but its not due to come back until march 07. Usually you start fittings about 2 months before the wedding or closer, alot can happen in a year you can gain weight, lose weight, so if you do it now you can end up doing it again later. A seamstress would probably tell you the same to wait

I got mine about a month and a half before my wedding...and didn't do fittings until 3 weeks before. I also had 3 fittings....I was at Kleinfelds almost every day.
