1 Romaine Heart 4 celery stalks a 4-inch piece of seedless cucumber, with skin 1 sack of Nature Sweet cherry tomatoes 1 big can of sliced black olives
so, now I'm wondering .. what would be the serving size for a salad combination like that??? Would anyone happen to know??

Re: Salad Serving Size
what kind of serving? If you use like a diabetic exchange serving it's 1 cup of raw vegetables including salad.
is that what you meant?

Re: Salad Serving Size
Well .. everything you eat has a serving size .. and I know certain salads are not as healthy as others .. so common logic would say you should eat less of a taco salad than a salad mixed of greens and veggies .. and I've heard people talking about how certain things are 'no points' .. so .. I was wondering how you'd figure a serving size of a fairly healthy salad .. dressing not included, of course.

Re: Salad Serving Size
roughly one cup of raw veggies equals about 25 calories.

Thats interesting - I thought you could have tons of salad and not count points or calories at all

That's kinda what I thought .. but logically to me .. salads can be very, very different .. but I was thinking .. with trying to stay with the ingredients I posted .. that you could get more than just a cup.

I would think - with the ingredients you posted - you would be able to eat as much as you want.

Re: Salad Serving Size
olives would probably be the only thing that wouldn't be a 'free food'

Re: Salad Serving Size
Of what you listed, the only thing that is 'high' in calories are the olives. Next highest is the tomatoes. I think the calories on lettuce, cucumbers and celery are next to nothing.
