Re: Salmon or Tilapia?

It's such a personal choice. I don't like cooked Salmon so I picked the Tilapia. I find that if Salmon isn't cooked to perfection then it tastes really fishy.

Re: Salmon or Tilapia?

i'd go with salmon (actually I did go with salmon) it a more prettier and tastier fish in my opinion. I like tilapia but when given the choice i pick salmon every time.

I don't eat fish at all, but I would choose the salmon. Tilapia I'd be leery of because it's a bottom feeder. I don't know, fish skeeves me lol.

i love both but 'bottom feeder' makes tilapia sound so gross.

Re: Salmon or Tilapia?

from experience I think salmon is a filling fish. Meaning will your guests be hungry after they eat the entree??

Re: Salmon or Tilapia?

the picky eater checking in: 'depends how they are prepared!'

At my hall it was Salmon with dill sauce (or a few other sauces) or Tilapia with baby lobster sauce, etc

Everyone loved the Salmon at our tasting and I dont like lobster so I figured it was more versatile...
