Can anyone recommend a salon in Great Neck for hair and makeup? I am having my hair and makeup people come to me, but my BM's are looking for a place to get their's done.

ugh...i can't remember the exact spelling, but there was a salon called De Al (sp???) on Middle Neck Road in Great Neck Plaza that was really good. Not cheap though.

It's a little further - Manhasset, but i highly recommend Nubest on Northen Blvd next to Waterworks right near Lord & Taylor.

I HIGHLY recommend Pristine on Middle Neck Road in Great Neck. Charles is the owner and he did my hair...it was amazing. I have really curly hair which is hard to manage and he was able to do it. But I've seen him do all sorts of hairstyles. HE's great. Expensive though....
The makeup, I didn't have mine done there but I saw a couple of brides while I was there and they came out great too.

My friend got hers done the other day at NY Salon on Middle Neck Rd. right by the train station and it looked nice. She has super curly hair and they made it totally straight with half pulled up in pretty curls that laid against her head. Not sure if I am describing that right. Any way, another friend who got married a few years ago got her hair done there along with all her bridesmaids. I think they do makeup too.

i go to defranco spagnolo on middleneck rd. and love Valerie for hair --the makeup guy there is supposed to be really good too!
