Salons in RVC
I'm not from LI so I don't know many places in the area. I'd like to go with my bridesmaids and MOB/MOG to get our hair done before our wedding to a salon in RVC or Oceanside. Our hotel is in RVC and the wedding is in Island Park, so I want to go somewhere very close to the hotel or the venue. We were going to go to the place my FSIL did for her wedding, but it is in Bellmore, which is out of the way. I don't want to travel an extra 20-30 mins when we could have beach traffic.
I have a blow out/makeup trial at Hair Machine in RVC for our engagement pics to try out the salon. I'd like to go to a place that people love or is recommended. Anyone know anything about Hair Machine or have any other ideas?
I'd like to go to a salon b/c I have a larger bridal party and I want to do hair and makeup as quick as possible and I don't want people to have to get up at the crack of dawn and then sit around and wait for their turn. A salon has more resources/people and we'll have more 'private' wedding party time after the hair and makeup at the venue while we get dressed.
