I think replacing the taller portion with tapers would look very elegant. The roses are GORGEOUS and the way it is now seems to take the focus off of the flowers.

Re: Sample CP HELP!!!!
i think its really pretty... but i also agree wih the other girls that i think there is something that takes away from the flowers- not sure if its the ivy, or the space between the candles and flowers... i would either lower the candles, or somehow make the flowers higher or fuller.....

I like the centerpiece overall, but maybe instead of the ivy wrapping down you can get a stream of roses going down and then maybe thin out the candles.

I would want someone to be honest with me, so in my opinion, this does look a little awkward. But it could just be a matter of my taste, so if you like it, go with it! I am more fond of lower full centerpieces with lots of votives around it. Or, you could still do something lower and full with candles incorporated into it. Just my opinion, but others seem to like it...Good luck with what you decide
i agree 100%. i actually like lower cp's better too and i think for something like this... with the roses how you have them.. it would look nicer with just some more votives around it instead of the other stuff on top. Good luck!

Re: Sample CP HELP!!!!
Well originally i wanted low CP and high candles because my reception room is surrounded by windows overlooking the LI sound.....and I just figured that the reflection of the candles would look amazing throughout the whole room.... So...i think i'm going to see if the florist has nice simple candleabras or just have the floral CP with long candlesticks on the table next to the CP. I have to see what they say....maybe they have other ideas.
Thanks ladies!

JMHO, but I agree with this poster. Just my taste, but I would take out the Ivy and the candles at the top all together and put some votives around the base. HTH

Re: Sample CP HELP!!!!
I love it, I think it is very creative and different. The only thing is that there is nothing tieing in the red roses at the bottom to the white candles at the top. I think having the florist creat a small wreath of mini red roses for around the base of each candle would totally tie it all together and maybe even tossing in a few ivory roses to the bottom would help tie it in, but the way it is right now, there is nothing to bring the two colors together..know what I'm saying?? But I do love the whole concept of the arrangement, I think it is great and it is open and people will still be able to talk through it on the table!!
