How far before your wedding is your florist making a sample CP for you? If you are having high and low, are they making samples of both? Of course I am dying to see a sample CP from my florist, but I don't want to bug her when there is still SO much time till my wedding.

same for me... Actually I am lying I didn't know that was how it worked until I got there.
So I can't say I 'had them' do it for me - but that's what they did.

I am going to have mine made in March
ETA: My contract was very specific re: number and types of flowers so I didn't mind having a sample done after I booked. I also gave her pictures of what I wanted to make sure that she felt comfortable replicating the look.

I actually had my florist do a sample for me before I officially booked him! I wanted to see it before I started paying money! I would do it now, so that if you are not happy with it, you can always change it around.

Mine is supposed to be about 8 weeks prior to the wedding, so mine should be soon.

On the theory that you would buy a car without taking it for a test drive, I asked the florists I met with if they would do a sample before I booked. Some agreed, some didn't. The one I booked did!
