Do you have to book your florist before you ask them to show you a sample?
I want to see what they can do in person rather than a book w/ pics. And what if its not what I like should I feel obligated?

Re: sample CP's question
My florist (Colonial) made a CP for me and I have not given him a dollar or signed any contracts...I guess it all depends on who you are working with.

I think the same thing. Although sometimes they have demos set up and you can look as those. Plus they have a gazillion proofs of ones they have already done.

Re: sample CP's question
it depends on the florist. for example, designer florals made me a sample before i left...it took them 20 minutes in the back room, but it was worth waiting to see what it could possibly look like. when i went to pedestals, robert also showed me flower combinations. he didn't make an actual cp for me, but he showed me in person what flowers would be included in the cp and then showed me pics of what it could look like.
