Sample DVD reviewed...realized DJ was worst than originally thought!
First off...FS Photo & Video is simply amazing! They're great all around. We were more than happy with our proofs, our video and more so on their personalities throughout the entire process! LOVE Franklin Square Photographers!
Now...onto the worst. I HIGHLY recommend you search high and low for a QUALITY DJ!!! Get recommendations from past brides, read reviews, etc. If you book with someone and they give you a 'funny feeling' at any point before the big day...my advice...go with that feeling and run. Losing the lousy deposit is nothing compared to the horrible memories you're going to have.
Both DH & I numerous times throughout the day of had problems with our DJ. We've brushed it off and just let it be. There's really nothing we can do about it now..., but the other day we received our sample DVD to view...in viewing this we realized how much worst our experience was with this vendor. Simple instructions were not followed and royally messed up.
I've removed the DJ from my profile because I was once asked about our experience. I, of course told the truth. Time went on and another bride FM'd me of her same experience if not worst. I then made the mistake of asking the future bride if she wanted to hear what happened to this other bride. She said definitely. Soon after I saw many panic posts throughout the boards and even rec'd a few FMs from this DJ (which IMHO was out of line). Keeping in mind I never publicly displayed my opinion, just that I'd prefer to have a different DJ.
All of this, by the way is why I didn't write a review. (This has been asked a few times via FMs.) Reviews are extremely helpful to those that appreciate the honesty. Not all vendors perform 100% the day of...heck, some won't even perform 50%...you need to be prepared.
As I find myself not on here often I want to wish you all the very best on your day. It will be a day you'll remember a lifetime. Do your best to make sure you never forget the real reason you're having this celebration.![]()
