I'm going to start dress shopping this week...my question is how do you find out about sample sales? Do you just call the salon and ask when they will be having one or are samples always for sale?
You can sign up there and they send u a weekly e-mail. I think Kleinfeld's has a monthly sample sale and I think you can always ask the store

Re: Sample Sales?
Also sign up for theknot.com. That's how I found out about Kleinfelds.
ETA: Plus theknot offers discounts to knot member for certain vendors when they have these sales. I got an extra $150 off my dress.

Re: Sample Sales?
I went to one at the Wedding Center in Commack where all dresses were $99. We happened to stop by, and my FSIL got her wedding dress there that day for $99 (it was tax free week too!). She is no longer engaged, so maybe she can make a profit on ebay...

Re: Sample Sales?
Example? It is where they sell off all the samples they had in the store for people to try, or discontinued ones. Most of the stores I went to had mostly size 10s.
