Hello all. I am new to this board and was wondering if anyone has gone to Sand Castle or Floral Terrace. I want to book an appt but I wanted to see what the quote is for about 150 people. Any help would be great.

I think your best bet is to go there in person, and talk to them...It depends on the time of year.

Go there and talk to them in person....Frank at floral terrace is cool and mohammad at sandcastle is also very nice. I am a FT future bride and my sister is a SC future bride. I was going to get married next yr but prices are better this yr....they negotiate more....but for FT I think u met their guarantee depending on if u wanted a morning or evening wedding

FT wants a min of 180 on fri and sat min 200 sun also min 180 i believe

My sis got married at FT, (awesome), and I'm getting married at SC. Same situation, but reversed!

I think the quote would be really different based on time of year, what day etc.
Also, we are getting married on a Saturday night in July and Sand Castle has a 180 minimum.

They will do an afternoon wedding at the SC for 150....what time of the year are you looking at ? It will also depend on which year.

The SC quote I got was for September Saturday night- 180 people guarantee at $140pp. And they throw in an AMAZING 10 day greek honeymoon. (I am heavily considering FT, same owners and same deal) Good luck!

We are geting married on a Friday night with a 150 minimum. We did get them to go down on their original quote to what was our price range. After you look at all your getting it is an excellent choice and price.

That minimum depends on weather you are having a afternoon or evening wedding. I am having 100 in the afternoon this year but next year I would have to have 125.

I am looking to get married in Sept/Oct on a Sat night for about 150. How is the food at SC?

From what MOhammad told me when I went higher as the months went on for next yr....they could do a better deal fro sept/oct this yr......I heard the food is good but will know for sure at my sister's wedding 9/7

I haven't done an official tasting yet, but went to a bridal show there earlier in the year where they had a full cocktail hour set up. It was DELICIOUS!

I heard all the Saturdays except for Thanksgiving Weekend in 2009 were already booked (nights).
Not sure how 2010 is going so you should really look into it fast if you are interested.
I don't think they will do 150 as a minimum for night time though - thats what I was told - for an afternoon wedding definitely.
The food from what we have tasted at a bridal show and food tasting is very very good. You should go see them because they give you the tasting even if you do not book yet. They feel that once you do the tasting you can't say no.
On a side note, FH was at a sporting event and someone at the bar was telling him that he went to the SandCastle for an event the other day and the food was off the hook - FH was like no kidding, im getting married there !
