Sand Castle tasting

So i went to the Sand Castle on Friday night for a little tasting...let me just say, FH and I were FLOORED!
We get given both red and white wine, in addition to anything we wanted from the bar (FH had a guiness and i stuck with the white wine). Dina then brough out a basket of warm bread and fried calamari! FH doesnt eat it...but let me tell you, i DO and loved it! The breading was light and the calamari was fresh! The dipping sause had a ncie little spice to it as well....perfect little starter!
Next was our main course! A huge platter was brough out with, Shrimp oreganata, Stuffed chicked, filet mignon, pistachio crusted lamb, salmon, and veggies. EVERYTHING was amazing! The filet was like BUTTER....You didnt even need a knife! Salmon had a deliouos crust over it too....everything was just amazing!
THEN, a plate full of different goodies for desert...one thing was just better than another.

Needless to say....i'm still drooling and just LOVED IT! Plus, there was wedding going on at the time, so its not like they just made a small portion for us!

Now that TWOTY is over and i saw CLM....i can say that i will be booking with The Sand Castle next month!!!

hey there (NW crashing), just saw this post and im so happy you are booking SC! they are awesome!....and wait till they have a showcase (only SC/FT booked people invited). they have a fully CH and open bar. TO DIE FORRR!!! drool!!

I went to one showcase a month or so ago (they made an exception cause i asked if we could go before the booked) and i'm bringing my parents to the next on in Feb! It is so awesome! I really love that place and cant wait to sit down and get everything on paper!!
BTW, Do you have any pictures...i would love to see how people set up the room.
