Sand Ceremony

Sand Ceremony

Has anyone seen the Sand Ceremony done at a wedding? It is when the bride and groom combine sand into a glass container symbolizing become one. I am supposed to do this which I think is cool, but I have NO IDEA what type of holder I am to use. Does anyone know?

You get a glass like cylinder. They even have ones you can get personalized!!

They have the cylinder vases at dollar tree as well.

I saw it done and I knew what was going on but some guests were like what the heck are they doing?
I think a few words needed to be said regarding the symbolism -- maybe it can be written on the program?
