Has anyone seen the Sand Ceremony done at a wedding? It is when the bride and groom combine sand into a glass container symbolizing become one. I am supposed to do this which I think is cool, but I have NO IDEA what type of holder I am to use. Does anyone know?

check out my review--we did the sand ceremony. i found a double heart container on ebay and then bought cylinder shaped glasses to hold the sand in. i think i got them at either ac moore or michael's

I have seen it and it is very cool and unique. The couple used an interesting bud style vase and they now have it displayed with some wedding pics on a shelf. It's so neat to look at and very personal.

i love this idea as well... especially since we're doing a beach themed wedding. i've seen some sets online, but i feel like anything 'wedding' is more expensive, so i would just check out michaels, or even the dollar store!
