I need help!! The rev marrying us mentioned that 'if you really wanted to you could seperate the two color sands in the sand cermeony' and suggested using one color sand. i didnt even think about it but now that he mentioned it i can't help thinking about it! One color ot two colors of sand for the sand ceremony!?!?!? TIA

I was under the impression that it should be two. But they should be colors that mix well together for the portions when you pour at the same time.

it should be 2 colors each color representing you and him...then you pour the sand into a vase...when you and FH pour your sand into the vase the colors will mix together and that represents you two uniting...

it should be 2. our officiant mentioned a 3rd for the moms to pour in as a base because they're the 'base of the relationship' which is cheesy, but it involves them which is nice.

ITA. It should be 2, at least that's what I have always seen as well as what FH and I will be doing
