I'm getting married in a church and was told we couldn't do either. They said the saying of the vows/ exchanging of rings is the most important part and the other rituals are not necessary. Which stinks because we already have a pretty unity candle.

my brother is actually doing a wine ceremony....has anyone heard of that???

one had red wine and the other has white wine, they mix them together and its a rose wine and drink it

Thats a cute idea. I wonder if my church even gives me the choice. I'll have to ask. They are pretty strict.

I am doing a candle....I thing the sand thing is a nice idea though I saw a set in the store and it looked really nice.
