Sand Ceremony - Where to get supplies?

Sand Ceremony - Where to get supplies?

Ok, we're going to do that sand ceremony, but we don't know where to get the stuff.

Does Michael's have colored sand? If so, what dept? (We couldn't find any)
If not what store sells it?

We're also have a tough time finding a sand container. It HAS to have a lid on it, preferably one that seals in really well. I've looked online and can't find much. Is there someplace to get a *nice looking* jar like that?

A set would be GREAT but I can only find 1 set online that meets our needs and it's like $70. So I think that it's better to get the main container separately.

Please help... i'm so lost and confused here! lol :(

If you go on ebay there is a set right now for $30.00 with free engraving. In the search bar put in sand ceremony and it should pop up

I got my sand at Michael's, it was in the section by the artificial flowers. I got the actual jars from www.fantasyglassworks.com

If you don't mind me asking which jars did you get from that website? That is pretty cool that they do the engraving too!

I was also thinking of doing the sand ceremony, it's different and it's really nice! I've seen it done before!

I got the 22oz Apothecary Jar and had it engraved too. It came out really nice! I actually saw a picture of the same jar on here from a former bride's review, 'Aug07OFCbride'. Her's looked so good that I had to get one for myself!

So we ended up buying one at Tuesday Morning - it's one of those old school cut glass containers. It's really cool and was only $9.99. So I'll just get some cheap vases to pour the sand from and some sand! Yay!
