is the room service necessary on an all inclusive.. my fiance loves to eat and has to eat every 3 hours or so, should we go with the room service for about 900 more for the trip (cost of air) or should we lose the room service and save some money???
anyone ever been there? it'll be our first time
thanks

Re: sandals ???
My FI and I went to Sandals Royal Bahamian last year for New Years and you definitely do not need to pay the extra money for room service. They treat you like royalty regardless and the food is excellent. I am definitely considering going to another Sandals when it comes time to plan our honeymoon!

Re: sandals ???
I don't think you need room service. There are plenty of restaurants available throughout the day and evening. We stayed at the Regency at St. Lucia and there was one that was open late night too in case you got hungry when you got home.

Re: sandals ???
We didn't get room service and were very happy!!!!!!!!!! We were told by many previous brides that it wasn't worth it. There was never a time we said, gee I wish we had this. There was always food ready til 2am. And we were busy before and after that anyway.

We just came back from Sandals and we only used it once for Breakfast and it was nasty. I wouldn't recommend it.

Re: sandals ???
thanks for your input...we talked about it and we're not going for room service. he said he wouldn't mind being held over with snacks if real food wasn't available.
YEAH one less thing to worry about!

Re: sandals ???
upgrading to the room service would be a total rip off....hee.
you just don't need it...there is ALWAYS some place open throughout the day. for what it costs to upgrade, it's just not something you need....no matter how hungry you think he'll be, 900 is a lot.
