Sandals

So I think that we are going to book our HM at the Sandals Antigua! The lowest price I found for an 8 night vacation in the Honeymoon Grand Luxe room, including airfare is $4,458...SOOO For those of you who have gone to a Sandals location, what is the cheapest way to book? Through the company or discount websites? Any info you can give us would be great. Thanks!

Re: Sandals

We are going to two different Sandals for our honeymoon (St Lucia and Antigua)...when we were booking I noticed that travel agents and the Sandals web site had the same prices...seems like travel agents get free trips to Sandals and not a % or anything....

We felt better dealing with someone instead of booking through the Internet.

My FH actually wound up finding an amazing deal with Sandals. A travel agent quoted us higher. After I brought this to her attention, she wound up giving us the deal he found plus 100 voucher.

We booked our Sandal's from Liberty Travel

They gave us the same price on the Internet, also a grand lux room for 7 nights/6 days...we are paying over 5K because of the holiday (we are flying out on New Year's Eve). Our TA also informed us that Liberty Travel and Sandal's have a good working relationship so you can request what building you want to be in at the resort- so we did, because I have to be closest to the ocean!

We didn't qualify for our honeymoon because we got the cheapest room. So not everybody gets it.

We pretty much saw the same prices online and with a TA, so do whatever you're comfortable with.

We went to Sandals Jamaica (Ochos Rios) for vacation. We booked through an online site, but when we got there, they tried to change our room on us!!
I had to really stick up for myself to get the original room I booked, but it would have been nicer to have a travel agent to call up for help

I would go to a few agents with the price you got online, I bet they can match it

We're going to the Sandals in the Bahamas in 2 weeks! We went through a TA who was able to give us a discount. We only had to book our airfare, but she told us to fly Jet Blue - they were the cheapest!

St. Lucia hasn't had a hurricane in something like 13 years - so I think you'll be fine.

Question about Sandals Antigua...

we don't want to stay in the main building (want more privacy) but the rondovals are outrageously priced, my TA mentioned other private suites on the beach. is anyone staying in one of them? If so can you give me any info?
