I've heard this from a relative also. Do you know which resort you were next to? They didn't know. They have a lot of resorts in Jamaica and they all are pretty big, and I know one of them is really tiny like a hotel.

We went to Sandals Regency in St. Lucia, it was great; it's on a cliff so you get beautiful views of the ocean. Our only problem was all the flies and birds in the Pavillion for breakfast and lunch, but you can't help that in an open restaurant. Everything else was great, they have shuttles to take you anywhere around the resort and to the other two resorts; so you don't have to do much walking. But DH and I liked to walk around after eating all that free food.

We visited the Grande and it was beautiful; we want to stay there the next time we go to St. Lucia.

We stayed at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica and it was absolutely amazing!! They really treat you like royalty and everything is just so wonderful. Jamaica was so beautiful, and I would recommend Sandals to anyone!

I think the original- Sandals Montego Bay is a little run down. And there is another small one in Jamaica 'The Inn' I think it was called, is very small.

Whitehouse is amazing and new, the Negril one is awesome also. Beautiful beaches and sunsets.
