I'm about to book my HM to Sandals in Antigua and I'm wondering if anyone's been there? Or booked there and how was the airfare?

Just went there for my HM! We took a direct flight on Delta which wasnt bad.
We stayed in the new area of the resort the Mediterranian Village I think its called. The beach was gorgeous and the service was good.

If you dont mind me asking, what are you paying for sandals antigua? I looked at their honeymoon suites with private pools....wowwww i am inlove!

i have just been there. I got my epics done there. Its nice but not for the price :( Its one of the older sandals and I would not go there on a HMoon
the service was not that great either- we booked the ocean view HM suite- and it was not oceanview
the flight we took was continental and was great!
If your going to do a sandals- go to the one in st lucia- the halycon i think is the one.

They actually just re-did the Mediterranean side of the resort- the other side (Caribbean I think) is much older. But I hear the new side is great!

We were there last week for our HM and it was great. I'm still sad that we had to leave! The Mediteranean side of the resort is gorgeous! We had a penthouse suite even though we hadn't paid for that and I was in love with the bathroom and balcony! The service was good, though some things were definitely on island time. The food was also good, not 5 star, but we enjoyed it. We had a great time snorkeling, on a kayak trip, sailing, and just sitting by the pool or on our balcony. I hope you enjoy your trip as much as we did!

We went there for our HM - 13 days...so hard to leave...we had Monte Carlo Oceanview HM suite...worth every penny! We actually had a beach wedding ceremony for just DH & I while we were there & Sandals took such good care of us - it was incredibly romantic & honestly...PERFECT! We had an amazing photographer too. I have an album of wedding ceremony pics from Sandals in my bio, and also a few pics from HM on our webpage/website....feel free to check them out. We are already planning a 1 year anniversary trip back. We LOVED every minute we were there & staff was SO nice & helpful!
