We are looking to book our honeymoon for January 2016 but I keep going back and forth between sandals Antigua and the grande st Lucia. Has anyone been to both and can give some insight?? We are looking for a younger crowd and a good night life at the resort! Daytime at the beach and pool is where I plan to be!! Any suggestions would help :)

We are going to the Sandals in Antigua. I have to say Antigua and St Lucia both looked beautiful and we went back and forth between the two. I hate flying and in the end the shorter plane ride to Antigua had something to do with our choice hahaha I do know someone who went to St Lucia though and they loved it there as well.

I did my honeymoon at Sandals Antigua and LOVED it. We did the butler service and they made you feel so special. The food is amazing (have to have the lava cake from Mario's and if you get butler service you can have them bring you that even if you dont go there haha). The pool is huge so there's always enough room for everyone. The beach is of course beautiful but it is public so you will get vendors coming up to you. Night life is kind of the same at all Sandals. They have one 'pub' that stays open late with drinks bar food and pool tables. They have the entertainment set up outside of there so you could listen to the live music and then go in for drinks if that's what you want to do. There's also a piano bar which was nice for those mellow nights.

Oh another perk is the cafe they have. Pastries and coffee shop that's open all day. DH is a coffee fiend so we were there everyday and I know not all the resorts have that.

You really can't go wrong with sandals. No matter where you stay they really do provide you with the ultimate experience. We went to sandals in Jamaica and I told my husband I need to go back to sandals before we have kids!

We're going to St. Lucia, but we're going to La Toc. I feel like you have to look at the island and what it has to offer. We wanted some adventures aspects (ziplining for example) and St. lucia offered that. We also liked that there are 3 resorts that sandals has that you can jump around to depending on your mood. I also wanted spectacular views, and the mountains on st. lucia provide that.

My FH and I went to St. Lucia after we got engaged. We stayed at La Toc but went to Grande for water sports. The beach at Grande is nice, but I loved La Toc (a lot more restaurants).You can hop between the two - the busses come every two(ish) hours until 11:00 I believe. It was AMAZING. Excursions were super fun. We went ziplining, and on the Joe Knows tour. I am actually deciding between Antigua and Grenada for our honeymoon, but I wish I could go back to St. Lucia!

We are thinking Antigua because they have the type of beach we want. The travel agent said St. Lucia is great, but the beach can be a little more rough. We are looking for a very calm, true blue caribbean beach.
