We're staying there!!! I've seen good reviews, mixed reviews, bad reviews...
My thoughts are - you're on vacation...how bad could it be?? Go to tripadvisor.com - they always have a good mix of reviews and let you get a general idea of how the place is.

3 of our couple friends all got married this summer and they all happened to vacation there...
They all LOVED IT>...they had nothing but good things to say!
