Sandals Grande St. Lucian...

Sandals Grande St. Lucian...

I booked it for my honeymoon. It is new and was supposed to open on August 15, however it didnt. Now they are possibly delaying their opening until the end of september. My honeymoon isnt until april, so I assume it will be open. But this makes me nervous? Should I just wait it out, or look for other options?

phew, am I glad I didn't book that place! My travel agent was pushing it, but I was nervous bc I thought august was too close to October in case they had to delay the opening. April gives you a good six months though. I'm sure by then it will be open and everything will be fine! I've heard St. Lucia is beautiful!

My hubby and I was talking about that place yesterday, it was a Hyatt before I do not know what would cause them to delay opening, when we saw it when we were there earlier this month it looked great, maybe hiring staff and all the other things that go along with a hotel is taking longer than expected. Sweetie don't worry, if they can't put you there they have 2 others on the island that are even nicer. It is only in their best interest to open ASAP. You have time so don't sweat it.

St. Lucia is indeed beautiful!!!

Yes...St Lucia is BEAUTIFUL!!!! We stayed at the Golf & Spa Resort, and we had an AWESOME
Time. Cant wait to go back.

I wanted to go to the golf and spa, but got a much better deal on the new grande st. lucian. This made the decision for me, plus I can go to the golf and spa as often as I want. So it works out.
