Hi 07ers! Has anyone stayed here or know anything about the resort? FH and I are considering booking this place for our honeymoon. Thanks for the help!

Re: Sandals Halycon in St. Lucia
The Halcion is the smallest and quietest of the Sandals in St. Lucia. If you are looking for people to meet, beach/water activities and night-life stay at the Grande. We stayed at the Regency, but if we had to do it all over we would have stayed at the Grande. Don't forget, there is a shuttle to the other resorts every hour. So you can spend time at each resort. Hope this helps!

Re: Sandals Halycon in St. Lucia
I booked Sandals Regency for a few days of my honeymoon. I heard to avoid the Halcyon and either stay at the Grande or the Regency. The Grande has a nicer beach, but the Regency has a golf course.

I did! That is where FH proposed! It was AMAZING and romantic. We went to all 3 Sandals on the island b/c you get free shuttle to all the of them. The Grande is the biggest and nicest with the most action, BUT the Halcyon is the most romantic and quietest so it's a great place to Honeymoon. Mostly honeymooners were there. It's great b/c you can spend the whole day at any of the resorts, and come back to have some quiet and alone time. Very romantic.
We had a blast!!

Re: Sandals Halycon in St. Lucia
We booked our HM at the Halycon Resort because of what some posters have previously said...it's the most quiet resort and from what we heard from our friend who works for them- the most romantic and beachy. We wanted a place to relax and be with each other and we are so looking forward to HM.

Re: Sandals Halycon in St. Lucia
We were at the Grande in June and it was nearly all honeymooners too. In fact, we got a little tired of hearing about what couples did or didn't receive from their registry when we were in the pool. We ended up spending more time on the beach, it was quieter!
I can't comment on the Halcyon directly, as we didn't visit, but we did drive past several times, and it seemed to be in the middle of town--is the beach blocked off? Or maybe it's just so many businesses are crowded on the edge of the highway, where the Halcyon's gates are. When we went past it on the way to the Grande when we arrived we sighed with relief that the Grande is off on its own on this little peninsula.
Anyway, we loved the Grande--we don't golf, so not being at the Regency wasn't an issue, and we're fairly quiet people. Other than dinner and some evening walks, we didn't go out at night at the Grande (we did go to the street fair in Gros Islet) and we had a lovely, quiet, romantic honeymoon. It was perfect. I'm very glad we stayed there.
