We booked our HM w/a travel agency requesting an ocean view room ground leavel I was told she can not tell us the room yet but will put in the request..they do not assign rooms untill you get there???So once you land and meet up w/the sandals rep keep telling them that you 'requested' a room on the water DOes this sound right???

When you book your HM you pay for whatever kind of room (beach front, ocean front, garden view). Im not sure about Sandals but I know the Breezes resorts have a cheaper option available where you can let them pick WHICH resort you go to but it has nothing to do with the type of room you get.
I'd call another Travel Agent.
PS: My 1st HM was at Sandals Royal Carribean in Jamica. I thought it sucked!! Breezes Runaway Bay was WAY more fun!!!! IMO

It's usually the case. We requested a king size bed instead of 2 double. We have to be closer to date to get it.

There was ocean front ground level and ocean front w/ a balcony I said we want ground level
