Sandals honeymoon

My fiance and I are trying to plan our honeymoon and are having a hard time picking a Sandals resort. We definitely want to do Sandals, but which one? (And does anyone like ClubMed better?)

I have a friend that just went to the sandles grand st. lucian and had an awsome time!

I heard the Grand Bahamian is the best, has a lot to do. I hope thats the correct name.

I went to the Grande St. Lucia this past Jan. for our honeymoon and we loved it so much we are going back in November.

Call Jan at Island Shores Travel in Massapequa. She's fantastic and had really good rates.

We went to the Grand Bahamian one last month - it was amazing. It is supposed to be the best one out of all the resorts, ratings wise, but they are all great!

I have been to three Sandals,,, Bahamas, St. Lucia Golf Resort and Mo Bay, Jamaica.

My advice... do two for the honeymoon.... and stay at Antigua and St. Lucia... the Bahamas one is also amazing but it is so close to home you may wish to travel further away. Sandals offers island hopping between thier islands!

There is also a sandals charter that is a little cheaper from Newark that flies direct. We used it and it was great! Call 1-800-sandals for more info.

It also depends on what you are looking for... just relaxing on the beach, or do you want nightlife and more of a party atmosphere.

I loved all of the resorts I went that were Sandals.... you can't go wrong... just stay away from MO Bay for the honeymoon... I found the other resorts were more elegant and romantic- even though we had a blast there!

we went to sandals st. lucia....and LOVED it!
we stayed at the smaller of the 3 resorts on St. Lucia, the Halcyon....and it was perfect for us

Antigua
Jamaica Negril
One of my BM, mom who is a travel agent and has been to all of the sandals said that these 3 are the best

In St. Lucia and Jamaica, since they both have about 3 Sandals, when you stay at one you 'play' at 3 That a good deal b/c they ofer a shuttle in between, then you have twice or three times as many resturants and stuff

We are staying at the new one in Jamaica but it won't be built by your wedding day. But I did talk to my cousin about the extensively before we booked since she is a travel aganet and been to all the Sandals. St. Lucia is incredible and very romantic and her favorite in Jamaica is in Neril, Jamaica. She said that was her favorite Sandals trip ever and she has been on dozens. She said it was very relaxing, secluded and sexy.

Just remeber that in Jan - the temp in Bahama's is not all that HOT... I am going in early Dec and it is cutting it close to the cooler weather 75-80 degrees average.... In Jan it gets some what cooler. I would def check out the climates in all the different resorts. I have heard though that St. Lucia is one of the best. My girlfriend is doing her HM there in Oct.

We are also going to the new Sandals in Whitehouse Jamaica. If you aren't going on HM right after wedding, it will be done February and is 50%. I think any Sandals you pick will be top of the line service.
