Sandals Honeymoon

My FH and I are currently investigating honeymoons. As of right now, we are planning on staying at Sandals Jamaica GRANDE OCHO RIOS. If anyone can give me any feedback on the resort, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: Sandals St. Lucia Honeymoon

You should check out the Honeymoon board- there is info on St Lucia.
Also, my co-woker went to St Lucia for her HM & she highly recommends an all-inclusive resort called Le Sport. They offer 1 body treatment a day with the package(massage etc..)

The site isn't that good but here it is anyway.

Re: Sandals St. Lucia Honeymoon

Grande Ocho Rios is in Jamaica, not S. Lucia. We are looking into the same resort too for our honeymoon. So much more cheaper tehn the other resorts. And to top it off, everythings included! Couldn't ask for more.

We booked our HM at Sandal's Halycon Beach at St. Lucia. From our research, it is the most beach resort-ish and that is what we wanted in our all inclusive.

Re: Sandals Honeymoon

We're planning on going to St Lucia for our honeymoon--a couple of days chilling at Ladera, and then to one of the Sandals resorts. We don't golf, so not the Regency, the Halcyon is the smallest with the fewest activities, so I guess it will be the Grande. However, it will depend on the rates when we book, which will be soon. This Knot bio has some great info about the three resorts, the bride spent part of her honeymoon (she had three!) at the Grande. Good stuff about which airport to use, etc.

I went to St Lucia Sandals Regency for my HM. We had a 2 story villa HM suite w/ pool and butler! It was awesome. The food was DELICIOUS and we had a blast!
FM for me info! Even if you go on the 'honeymoons' site, you'll find info there too!

the beach is very small from what I saw the one time we went there for dinner at the pier.
grande is goregous and so is the regency. the grande just has alot more water sports, and the water is alittle more clearer and calmer. Halcyon is also very small, i think b/c it was the very 1st sandals in st lucia. But it makes it cozy and its very pretty!

Our friends went to the Sandals resort in Jamaica for their honeymoon and loved it!!! We went to Sandals Grande in St. Lucia and loved it too!!!! My SIL was a travel agent for 15 years and said she never got a bad review from anyone that went to a Sandals resort.

Re: Sandals Honeymoon

We went to the Sandals Dunns River, which is close to the Grande. We stopped by the Grande once and it was really nice, but I noticed depending on which side the resort you are staying on you had to walk a lot to the beach or you had to take a shuttle. But Sandals, no matter where you stay, is an amazing vacation and we had sooo much fun!

yeah, we wanted to stay in a smaller and more relaxed atmosphere. Just our preference.

We went to Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica, which was very realxing & 'off the beaten path'. Good for those who just want to lie on the beach & do nothing. Pics in my album
