for those of you who made one, do they contact you if someone buys an excursion for you on the registry to schedule it? Also, do you get some sort of an email or something letting you know that someone contributed to your honeymoon, and if so, where does the money go?? lol

crashing im thinking about doing this too. went the expo the other day they told me to be careful you're guest could get charged like an $8 cc fee! I wanna figure out how to do it dull but make sure they don't get that fee!

I did a sandals honeymoon registry and they send you emails when you get gifts. They don't contact you to book an excursion for your resort credits, I think it gets put on your account and you can book them when you get there, but for the contributions towards your trip you can either have them mail you a paper check or they can do a direct deposit into a checking account. As for the fees, they charge it based on the amount of the gift, I just checked on my registry and if someone gives a gift of $100 the fee is $9.

I really liked the sandals registry, it was easy to use and it only took 2 or 3 days for them to get me the money after I put in the request.

I'd like to do a honeymoon registry also. I saved honeymoonpixie.com & honeymoonwishes.com to my favorites. I haven't had the chance to check them out yet but I don't think they charge a fee?

I did it for my shower. If people choose to give us gifts for our wedding off of it, we will be able to use the resort credits towards things to do while we're there (we're leaving two days after the wedding). If they make contributions to the cost of the trip it's the same as them giving you money because you just request the money and they put it in your bank account.
