Sandals Jamaica

We were going to go to Sandals in Jamaica at first. I hear the ones in Negril are the absolute best and nicest. Whitehouse is supposed to be the 'crown jewel' and the other one is supposed to be amazing as well. We were going to stay at either of the Ocho Rios resorts. They both also got great ratings and were a little less expensive. The two in Montego Bay seemed like they were the least expensive and still got good reviews but in general, from our research it seemed that Montego Bay was not the best for a honeymoon spot. The beach is directly under all the planes that takeoff and land.

Definately dont book the airfare on Sandals website. I priced it seperately from other websites and it came out to the same exact thing AND I was getting direct flight choices and many times when Sandals gives you the choice of flights, they werent offering the flights that I knew were available. In general though, I would say definately book the hotel via Sandals because you get their awesome refund policy- you can cancel at any time for any reason up to 46 days prior and get your full deposit refund. you can switch around your reservation to different Sandals, different rooms, whatever you want with no problem.

I've been to Whitehouse this past December (08) and it was awesome- very relaxed and quiet. Great beach.

Negril is being re-done (or has been re-done) I've heard- and has the most beautiful beach.

The only difference is Negril has more to do (in terms of excursions) right outside the resort--you have to travel to Montego Bay or Negril for most of the excursions if you are into that.
