Sandals Resorts

Which have you been to, and would you go back?

I always read mixed reviews on Sandals, so I am wondering which are well liked. I went to the Grande St. Lucian for my HM and it was so awesome that I am hesitant to try a different one.

However, they are building a brand new one in Whitehouse Jamaica (which I was considering).

Re: Sandals Resorts

I just came back from the Sandals in Bahamas. I definitely would recommend that one to anyone and wish I could go back there now. When were you looking to go?

The Halcyon in St; Lucis was beautiful - but you probably don't want to go back to the same island.....

I second Sandals Royal Bahamian!! Excellant service, the food was pretty good, the room we stayed in was beautiful (the Windsor Block) and we had plenty to do!!

We went to the one in Antigua and had alot of problems there, along with other couples. They did comp us a free trip and we took it to Bahamas and thought it was alot better.

Re: Sandals Resorts

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I would not go back to Sandals Royal Bahamian. It was fun the first six days, on our last day I was violently ill, I came home to the doctor and found out I had SALMONELLA poisoning. They tried to compensate me with three free nights, sorry... but that coupon doesn't pay for the ensuing medical bills I had to get rid of it. Not to mention being sick for more than 4 months after....Their customer relations department was less than friendly, which I understood at first, they probably have several claims a year, but when I went back to them with actual test results, they still did not accept responsibility. The biggest mistake I made was not going to their nurse that last day. Maybe I would have if I could have left the couch/bathroom. (Sorry if that was too much detail) I am still mad after 9 months!

I was wondering how that was. That is one of the places I'm considering
