Sandals Resorts? Help please

Hey ladies,

Has anyone here been to Sandals in either St. Lucia or Jamaica? My fiance and I have been planning a Hawaii honeymoon for the past few months but it looks like we might put ourselves into debt to go there. :( Which makes me sad because I'm dying to go.
So now we are researching some other options. We are looking at Sandals but I've never been to one. If you have any positive or negative experiences to share please do so. I want my honeymoon to be elegant and perfect so I need help making this decision. I'm affraid that Sandals might be to 'big and impersonal'.
Any help?

Thanks!!!! xoxo

I went to the white house in Jamaica. It was nice, the place was very clean and pretty, and scenic, but the food was eh. Not bad just ok. We really like our food (I am not sure how you are, but we are picky). Service was very good, always there when you need them. If you want to go on excersions it is about 3 hours away for anything. I didnt feel like a 3 hour bumpy ride to the falls on those windy roads was worth it. It is almost like your trapped on the island. I was there for seven days and by the 5th we were ready to go. We enjoyed ourselves, had a wonderfully romantic time (dont get me wrong), but looking back maybe we should have chosen some place else. I dont regret it, but I wish I maybe chose a different Sandals like St. Lucia or Bahamas. I heard those two were really nice. I really did like the White House, but I wouldn't do it again.

We didn't do Sandals, we did Couples in Negril Jamaica and we loved it. Same price range as Sandals.

We just got back from Sandals Grande St. Lucian, and everything was wonderful. It is soooo beautiful there and we had an awesome time. The service was excellent, we had a concierge room w/ 24 hour room service.

Please feel free to FM me with any questions!

We're going to Sandals Grande in St Lucia in Jan, so I don't know yet first hand but I heard it's amazing...

If ou're dying to go to Hawaii, we went on a cruise around the islands (2 days in each) and then stayed in honolulu at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (total trip was 10 days) for 5 grand total including airfare and a balcony room... it saved us 2 grand over island-hopping and it includes all your food. Also don't have to pack up and unpack every couple of days which was nice

The Pride of America was a GORGEOUS ship, might wanna check it out if you;re really dying to go
