Has anyone here been to Sandals in either St. Lucia or Jamaica? My fiance and I have been planning a Hawaii honeymoon for the past few months but it looks like we might put ourselves into debt to go there. :( Which makes me sad because I'm dying to go. So now we are researching some other options. We are looking at Sandals but I've never been to one. If you have any positive or negative experiences to share please do so. I want my honeymoon to be elegant and perfect so I need help making this decision. I'm affraid that Sandals might be to 'big and impersonal'. Any help?
Thanks!!!! xoxo

Re: Sandals Resorts? Help please
hi...
i only wanted to go to hawaii as well but we just couldnt afford to do it the 'right way'....so we are going to sandals antigua-we chose sandals bc we are getting married in august and they have a 'hurricane guarantee' insurance...
i have only heard good things about st. lucia or jamaica sandals....never been so cant speak for myself...i really am looking forward to it though and i think the all inclusive will be good for me!!
good luck!! i say if you really want to do hawaii then just do it...when will you have the chance to do it again you know?? yea its expensive but if thats where you really want to go-thats where you should go!!

Try looking into Sandals Jamaica Dunns River.
That is where we will be staying. . . the agent at Sandals told us it was one of the smaller ones and a little more personal.
And don't forget, you can stay at the smaller one but play at all the resorts! I think its a short bus ride

FFIL is a PO for 33 yrs and a travel agent on the side.. He loves Sandals so much that he bought a 30 yr time share w/ them. It can be used anywhere. Bf my FMIL passed in JUne they went to both those places and said they were amazing, They were big traveling people and have a lot of experience. I will be also staying somehwere through scandals.

We're going to St. Lucia, but not Sandals (just booked today). We're staying at a resort called Jade Mountain, but were originally thinking of Sandals Antigua. Here's where we'll be staying:
This is exactly what happened to us! Hawaii is so expensive! We are looking at the Sandals Jamaica Ocho Rios (? I think) b/c my parents have a time share that they are giving us a week of and it's included...but not the all-inclusive fee, that would be extra....does anyone have any idea how much that would be?

Any idea what the all-inclusive fee is? probably not, I bet they don't really separate it....I will have to call the time share place to find out I bet....just another call to make!
