Hi, we decided to go to Hawaii for our HM. I've been looking at resorts and different locations in Hawaii, but I think Sandals might be easier to plan. Also to register for a HM the only ones I found were in the Carribean.. Plus, I do love the idea of a couples only resort and can not find one in Hawaii.
Can I get feedback on a humm, maybe we should rethink Hawaii and considere Sandals question??

Sandals are great becuase they are adults only and all inclusive. Hawaii is great although no adult only resorts. I am going to Hawaii because I can really go to the Caribbean any time. Hawaii is one big trip that I will probably never have time to go again. At least with the Caribbean you can go there for only a few nights because the islands are not that far away. Check with Liberty Travel, they have a honeymoon registration you can set up if you book your honeymoon there. They give you cards that can go in your shower invitations, people can go into any Liberty Travel and give money towards your honeymoon. If you have any questions, let me know. Tracy

sandals also has a few promotions - we are gettin gfree waterford glasses (or you can chose china!), a spa credit and free air transfers to our place from where we first land in jamaica....but i am partial, we are going to a sandals....
either way, it'll be fun - whcih would you rather go to??

We've both been to the Carribean and FH has no desire to o back. I've been to Hawaii but it was 12 years ago and FH has never boon, so Hawaii seemed like the best place. Since we live in CA it is also 'slightly' more convenient for travel. Slightly because the wedding is in NY, so it would really only be closer on the return flight to San Francisco.
But looking the all-inclusive resort packages just seem like really good deals...

All inclusive's are great!!!! You pay for nothing when you are there except for and excursions and gifts. I love them but I figured for me, Hawaii was once in a lifetime. Just my opinion.....

I have been to two Sandals resorts. One was a comp trip due to problems we had during our first Sandals experience. I honeymooned in Hawaii. I think Hawaii blows Sandals away. No offense to Sandals lovers. All inclusive is great that everything is paid for, but I think the food is usually less than average. Just my opinion. Good luck!

I think this is a personal decision. I have been to Sandals (Dunns River, Jamaica) and to Hawaii twice. Hawaii is GORGEOUS, but VERY expensive, and to me, the worst part is the flight. 12 hours on a plane is craziness! You will have a great time if you go, and it IS very romantic. Sandals was great, loved the all inclusive, food was very good, loved that it was all adults, but Jamaica is one of those places where you shouldn't venture out on your own. Sandals, all in all, was great.

It depends on your budget. I wanted to go to Hawaii, but you have to take at least 2 weeks to go. We did an all inclusive and was very HAPPY We went to Sandals, St Lucia. Hawaii does NOT offer any all inclusive. This is JMO. If you have the $$$$ I say go for it.

i think it also depends on your time availability - we choose sandals over hawaii b/c we wanted mroe time at the palce than flying there.....bu7t we hope to go to hawaii one day too!
