Sandals Room question...

For anyone who has been to a Sandals resort, is it truely worth it to upgrade to the more expensive rooms? Are they really worth the additional money? We are looking at the Sandals in the Bahamas.....

Sandals Room question...

I actually just got back from Sandals Royal bahimian last night..We went for a long weekend for my fiances 30th b-day and a pre-honeymoon (We are getting married in April and going to Italy for our honeymoon). We had a great time and the weather was great! Since we were not on our honeymoon we did not pay extra for a special room but I heard from a few honeymooners that the suites were gorgeous. I am sorry we did not check it out but I did hear great things. If you don't get a suite request the Windsor building. We were in the Manor building which apparently is not as nice. It was a really relaxing vacation, very romantic, not too much entertainment at night but we really had a great time. If you have any other specific questions feel free to e-mail me @ [email protected].

Sandals Room question...

Hi Val, I went to Sandals Royal Bahamian on my honeymoon, and I was not impressed. They advertise it to look very elegant, and upscale, but in reality it is on the order of a Holiday Inn. We didn't upgrade our room, and contrary to what they advertise, it was no luxury hotel. It was a room with a bed and a TV. That's it. we met people who were staying in suites, and while they were much better than what we had, in my opinion, they were not worth the money. The food was mediocre on a good day, and that was my biggest disappointment. The Japanese restaurant, and the French were the only ones I could stomach. There were a lot of buffets, but I'm not a buffet person, especially when they are outside with flies all over the place. of course. I had a good time, because it was 10 days with my husband in beautiful sunny weather, but for what we got for our money we could have had the same great time staying on Long Island. I loved the Bahamas, but next time I'm staying at Atlantis! Of course, this is just my opinion. Please don't take it as everyone's. Do more research, ask around. Good luck! : )

We were at Sandals Antigua this summer and felt the same as you. We had major problems and made complaints and ended up with a free 5 nights to any sadals to use within the year. We are thinking of going away this april to sandals bahamas since it is the closed one.

SANDALS ROOM......

We went to Sandals, St. Lucia, and we absolutely LOVED it. The food is pretty good, but come on, we live on Long Island, do you really thing your going to get the best Italian food in the Carribbean??We are very spoiled here when it comes to our food. I personally think you can spend your money on staying an extra night than to upgrade your room. We hardly stayed in our room. We stayed near the main lobby, which I was pleased. We actually were going to stay in the villas, but they are so far from the pool and the beach. There is so much to do in the resort, and met so many great people from Long Island down there. Have Fun!!!!!

My experience with Flowerfield was %100 wonderful! They think of everything, so you have nothing to do but SMILE on your big day. My bridal attendant was Joette, who was a doll. I highly recommend her,but from what I hear, all of the attendants are just as good. If you have any question, concerns,or anything else, feel free to email me [email protected] Best of luck with your planning! : )
